AUNT SUSIES REMARKABLE FUDGE
Ingredients
- 4 c. sugar
- 1 (14 1.2 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 1 stick butter
- 2 sm. pkgs. chocolate chips
- 1 pt. marshmallow cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 pkg. nuts
Directions
Boil sugar, milk and butter together until it forms a soft ball (roughly 30 to 40 minutes). This scorches easily, so stir constantly and on moderate heat. Remove and add chocolate chips, marshmallow cream and vanilla. Stir until all is dissolved and add nuts, if desired. Pour into large greased cookie sheet. Cool. Cut into small pieces. (This recipe is about 45 years old).
