SOURDOUGH COOKIES
Ingredients
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. starter
- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. soda
Directions
Cream first 4 ingredients. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Mix 1/2 cup sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon and sprinkle on each cookie. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
