ULTIMATE CHOCOLATE BROWNIES 2

Directions
In medium bowl combine cocoa and baking soda. Blend 1/3 cup melted butter. Add boiling water. Stir until mixture thickens. Stir in sugar, eggs and remaining 1/3 cup butter. Stir until smooth. Add flour, vanilla and salt. Blend completely. Stir in chocolate chips.
Pour into a greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until brownies pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely and frost.
BUTTERCREAM FROSTING:
6 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. cocoa
2 2/3 c. powdered sugar
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
In a small bowl cream butter. Add cocoa and powdered sugar alternately with milk. Beat to spreading consistency. (Additional milk may be needed). Blend in vanilla. Makes about 2 cups.
